How Provider Matching Works

This service is designed to give you a direct path to one participating local company for the requested service area--not to send your information through an open bidding marketplace.

1. Describe what you need. Choose the service, provide the job location, and share useful project details.
2. Get the right follow-up. We assign your request to a participating contractor, supplier, agent, or other specialist vetted under our provider standards for the specific service and area, so they can contact you and follow up promptly based on your particular need.
3. Ask questions. Confirm the company's legal name, applicable credentials, insurance, scope, pricing, permits, timing, warranty, and cancellation terms.
4. Make your own decision. You may proceed, seek another estimate, or decline the service. A request never requires you to hire anyone.

One participating company per service area

We generally make an area available to one participating company at a time. Participation is a limited, revocable privilege--not ownership of the website, a permanent territory, or a guarantee of leads. It may be paused or withdrawn when our provider standards are not met.

What you should expect

The company should identify itself, communicate honestly, explain the proposed work, and provide any information you need to make an informed choice.
